A decentralized and geographically distributed network based on physical (local copies) of critical datasets stored in ultra-durable, low-energy media like synthetic DNA, or archival-grade film. The network will store essential information for rebuilding society in case the digital world is lost. Local, small-scale and power-independent hardware to read/write/manage the storage must be included. The datasets should include know-how such as agriculture, medicine or construction, so they can be accessed even with no power.
