Autonomous pods designed to attach to defunct satellites immediately following a catastrophic system failure. The SRP stabilizes the satellite and prepares it for controlled deorbit or, if possible, in-situ repair by robotic servicing vehicles (if such capacity exists as part of contingency planning). Provides data to allow remaining satellites to adapt their orbits away from it as well.
