A low-cost, open-source system relying on citizen science and readily available technology (e.g., smartphone apps and drones) to rapidly assess the extent of ecological damage. Data collected is used to prioritize emergency intervention and resource allocation in collapsing ecosystems. The aim is to empower local communities to take action when formal monitoring systems fail.
