Portable, self-contained kits containing basic equipment and open-source instructions for repairing and maintaining synthetic biology art installations in remote indigenous communities. These kits enable communities to independently manage and sustain projects in the absence of external support or supply chains. They also allow documentation of failures and adaptations.
