They analyze water samples and coordinate remediation efforts. They include filtration systems for microplastics, oil spill dispersal mechanisms and carbon capture technology. Aimed at halting further ecosystem collapse, although focused on 'buying time' rather than true restoration. MEDUs also are deployed to monitor wildlife populations.
