Low-tech, portable seed banks and mobile animal sanctuaries designed for rapid deployment in post-collapse environments. These are based on the fundamental idea of preserving species diversity on a foundational, accessible scale, that are both affordable and simple. They provide a last resort for preserving biodiversity when infrastructure crumbles. The sanctuaries could deploy trained wildlife experts armed to protect these habitats.
