Community-Owned and Operated Microgrids with Federated Cybersecurity
A network of local, community-owned microgrids that generate and distribute electricity independently from the centralized grid. The system implements a security federation. Each node has its own security system, but also agrees to share information with other nodes. These microgrids are designed to be highly resilient to cyber threats through decentralized control, redundant systems, and adaptable security protocols that evolve with the threat landscape. This enables communities to maintain power in the event of a widespread grid failure.
