A distributed, decentralized project that provides a physical back-up via material sample, recording, and artifact storage of personal family culture. Using a blend of traditional and technological archival techniques, the GCAP creates a time capsule of cultural heritage assets stored across disparate locations, mitigating single points of failure in case of large-scale cultural infrastructure collapses. Allows owners access to the collection at any time, or in the (hopefully rare) event of disaster recovery.
